Executive Chef Sean Kinoshita – Tao Asian Bistro


TAO Executive Chef Sean Kinoshita joined TAO Asian Bistro in February 2012. Prior to that, he served as Executive Chef for Seaview, leading the resort’s award-winning culinary team and overseeing on and off-site catering, menu design, special events and banquets. He also expanded the scope and use of the property’s herb and vegetable garden.

Upon graduating the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco in 1992, Kinoshita began his career working as a tournant line cook with Chef Cory Schreiber, a James Beard award-winner at the Cypress Club Restaurant in San Francisco. Several years later, after working in New York and San Francisco’s top restaurants and alongside noted award-winning chefs including Chef Gray Kunz at the New York Times 4-Star rated Lespinasse; David Burke at Park Avenue Café; and the Food Network’s Chef Ming Tsai at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, he was named executive chef at A Pacific Café in Honolulu, Hawaii. In 2002, he joined Harrah’s Entertainment working as an executive sous chef at the Rincon Casino and Resort and Caesars Atlantic City before being named the executive chef at Harrah’s Chester Casino and Racetrack.
